Sam Adams Light
Medium carbonation, lingering wheaty after taste. Refreshing, but not memorable.
Sam Adams Rustic Saison
Light lager taste, nothing special. Light carbonation.
Sam Adams Latitude 48 IPA
A very mellow IPA. Great aroma, not a lot of hop bitterness. Makes a great session beer. If it wasn't labeled an IPA, I'd easily mistake it for an amber. It's really delicious though!
MacTarnahan's Amber Ale
Solid amber I found at Pyramid Brewery in Berkeley. The bartender was telling me that Pyramid had bought out MacTarnahan's, a brewery in Portland Oregon. The amber was delicious. It had good hops, a full malty body, and just the right amount of carbonation without overwhelming you. It also made a great accessory to Pyramid's awesome mega-nachos.
Warning: Don't get the amber that's nitrous carbonated. It's not nearly as good. It just tastes flat and boring in comparison.
Trader Joe's Vienna Style Amber Ale
Pretty label, cheap price ($6 for 6), but doesn't taste like much. I'd skip it.
Mission St. Brown Ale
A good deal at $2 for a 22oz, but I really didn't like it. There was a good amount of flavor, but it just didn't happen to be good flavor. For once, I actually preferred this brewery's hef rather than their brown ale.
